Can I use it on bakery packaging?
On a smooth coated box, yes. On uncoated kraft card the adhesive will not key in and the piece will lift in transit.

How do I apply it so it actually stays on?
Clean the surface with an alcohol wipe and let it dry fully. Peel the backing, position the piece, then press firmly for about thirty seconds. Leave it a full day before exposing it to water.

Will it leave a mark if I take it off?
It is designed to stay where it is placed rather than to be moved. Removal can leave adhesive residue, and on painted or coated surfaces it may lift the finish, so place it deliberately the first time.
