Two placements cause almost every complaint. The first is mid handle on a leather or faux leather bag, where the metal clasp rubs the same centimetre of surface every time you pick the bag up and slowly polishes a mark into it. The second is anywhere that swings freely at hip height on a crossbody, which sounds harmless until you are on a crowded bus or an escalator and the charm catches on something.
